Sorry for the delay in new posts lately. Been going through some personal stuff...
But anyway! Good news! The alpha has been getting a fair bit of attention (both good and bad) and I've been given a few things to think about, which is always good. I'm going to be moving to a new IDE for development as soon as it's ready. It's being made by Stab In The Dark Software and it's looking really nice.
Also, I've started dabbling with town generation. My plan with getting this game working is to get base functionality working in each of the 3 game sections before syncing them all together and neatening them up. I'm happy with where dungeons are at the moment (with the exception of monster A.I) but you'll be seeing a bit more of a mix-n-match throw in of topics on the blog from now on. A bit of dungeons, and bit of towns and a bit of countrysides. More on that when I get to it. My spare time is still a bit limited lately, so we'll have to see how things go until I get my life sorted out a bit better.
Best news of all, however, is that Ordinary Obscurity are back and working on a new wave of art for the game, so you have some awesome new pics to look forward to in the near-ish future! Can't wait to see that!
So yeah, I'll probably upload a revised Alpha version for download at some point, since I've made about a hundred thousand changes since the last one... So keep an eye out for that!
